My mothers belongs to the Berisha clan, and her paternal lineage descends from the 1200, and my father belongs to the Gashi tribe, and traces back his lineage to 1500. but your parents and community would ostrasize you and penalize you if you not only married people you share familiar ties up to 7th generation ago, but also if you both descent from the paternal clanship from centuries ago.į. Im not sure if it is legal or illegal, as cousin marriages are legal in most european countries.
